Keto arepa recipe

INGREDIENTS (4 servings)
▪️ 100 g of  almond flour
▪️ 60 g of cream cheese
▪️ 1 teaspoon of xanthan gum
▪️ 20 g of butter , melted (+ for cooking)
▪️ 1 egg 🥚
▪️ 1 pinch of salt 🧂
PREPARATION
1. Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl: almond flour , cream cheese, xanthan gum,  butter , egg and salt. Mix 🥣 and knead until a dough forms.
2. Let the dough rest for 5 minutes ⏳ and divide by 4.
3. Shape the dough into discs. If you find it difficult to handle, lightly grease your hands with oil.
4. Heat a pan with butter over very low heat 🔥 Cook the bread covered for 5 minutes. ⏲ or until the bottom is golden brown. Flip and cook, covered, for 5 more minutes.
