Keto choripan recipe

INGREDIENTS

(6 servings)

▪️ 200 g of almond flour
▪️ 20 g of psyllium
▪️ 120 ml (½ cup) of water 💦 , lukewarm
▪️ 60 g of  butter 🧈 , melted
▪️ 2 eggs 🥚
▪️ 2 egg whites (extra)
▪️ 1 teaspoon baking powder
▪️ ½ teaspoon xanthan gum
▪️ 1 pinch of salt 🧂

👩‍🍳 PREPARATION
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C 🌡 .
2. In a large bowl, beat the eggs and the two egg whites.
3. Add the rest of the ingredients: the almond flour , the psyllium , the butter , water, baking powder, xanthan gum, and salt. Mix 🥣 until a uniform mass is formed.
4. Divide the dough into 6 and create the elongated loaf shape  🥖 with each one. Place the loaves on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
5. Bake for 35 minutes ⏲ or until the dough is golden.
6. Let the bread cool for 10 minutes before assembling the choripanes. 🎊 .

💡 TIP: Did you like the recipe? The dough also works well as sandwich bread.  🍞 , but it will take about 45 minutes in the oven!
